Roadside Standstill

I love painting the overlooked moments — the pauses between motion, the ordinary scenes that usually disappear before we notice them. This roadside view became a study in stillness and tension. A truck, a cone, a sliver of roadway — sometimes that's all it takes to make a scene feel charged.
